Canal Place Apartments

121 West Poplar Street, Sidney OH 45365

Canal Place Apartments are located within the historic downtown area of Sidney, Ohio, and offers affordable apartment living. The building was originally constructed in 1915. It has served many purposes over the years, including a department store before it was renovated in 1995 into affordable housing units. 

There are a total of 55 spacious apartments, consisting of studio, one, and two bedroom suites that offer unique features that you would expect to find in more expensive units.  At Canal Place, there is a secure entry system and on-site management that work together to safeguard residents.  Our apartments offer all the privacy you desire, while the community room provides opportunities to socialize with neighbors and entertain your family and friends and can be reserved for those larger functions and events.  There is an on-site laundry facility, indoor mail room, elevator & off-street parking. 

Canal Place Apartments offers independent living  in affordable housing with easy access to shopping, restaurants, municipalities and financial institutions.  The community room can be rented by residents and community members for small functions.

Rent includes heat/AC, utilities and basic cable.

Handicapped Accessible unit are available.

Blume-Alumni Apartments

Situated on secure grounds minutes from Downtown Wapakoneta Ohio, Blume-Alumni Apartments is a unique senior community that makes it easy for you to enjoy the best years of your life. Originally built in 1915 as the Blume High School it was renovated into modern, attractive apartments in 1995 that offer all the conveniences of home, without the headaches.

You'll immediately feel at home walking around Blume Alumni because the sights are so familiar.  Many of you, including Neil Armstrong, attended Blume High School, or spent time at the Memorial YMCA and Library.  

Choose from 23 one or two bedroom suites that have been designed for personal comfort with a full range of safety measures for resident's security. 

The laundry, mail room and community room will allow you to live comfortably without ever going outdoors.  Dine and entertain friends and family in your unit or use the Armstrong Community Room and kitchen facilities. or reserve for special events and celebrations. There is also an inviting private courtyard with beautiful blooming gardens for tenants and guests to enjoy. It is located close to the downtown area, municipal offices, financial institutions, library, theater, parks, shopping and restaurants.

Sunrise Apartments

405 South Blackhoof Street, Wapakoneta OH  45895

Sunrise Apartments are located adjacent to Blume-Alumni Apartments in Wapakoneta, Ohio.  Originally build as the local high school in 1910, it was added onto in 1915, and renovated into  one, two and three bedroom suites in 1995. 

You can walk the halls that Neil Armstrong walked when he attended high school.  Many of the units still have the ornate tin ceilings and crown molding that adorned classrooms. 

There are 24 suites with access to an on-site laundry facility, indoor mail room, picnic area and a community room that can be reserved for entertaining friends and family members.  Off-street parking is in the rear of the building. There is on-site management and a security system that offers added safety for our residents. Residents are also able to reserve use of the Armstrong Community room for family events an functions.  The private picnic area allows for small gatherings of friends and family, and perfect for enjoying the outdoors.

Sunrise Apartments offers secure and affordable housing that's within walking distance to downtown, parks, shopping, restaurants, financial institutions, the Wapak Theater, the public library and many municipal offices.

Rent includes heat/AC, utilities and basic standard cable services.
